The Lore of Kilwa

History & Secret Knowledge: Almost every wise man or woman in every village of Zanzibar knows of the Lore of Kilwa, passed down from generation to generation from the earliest Shirazi settlers on the island. Though the spells are Arabic in origin, like the Shirazi people they have merged with the magickal practises of the indigenous sawahil adepts to create a unique blend of sorcery.
The lore of the orders of Waganga and Kibuki is identical and knowledge is passed down by oral tradition. Spells are normally cast using a fetish such as the nkisi doll; though some sorcerers like the kibuki have ritualised the spells into dance as an aid to casting. All adepts are taught the basic lore of the order:

Healing (12Heart) cures minor ailments and removes parasites from the subject. The reverse, Juju Curse (12Heart) can be used to inflict bad luck or minor ailments on a victim.
